OTR-UAV Development
 


In 2005 Ocean Trek Research began research and development on a unique Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) designed to extend the range and speed of data acquisition from ship- and shore-based operations.

UAV Design Goals:
Easily assembled and disassembled and stowed
Simple shipborne launching and recovery system
Simple set-up of navigation and flight systems
Electric motor
5 hours endurance @ 60kts cruise
3-axis inertial guidance system
Utilizes Crossbow™ technology
Cost-effective
